Happy Birthday Half-Life

Shame on you! How could you forget about it! Today is a very special day, as exactly ten years ago Half-Life -- nowadays a legend and one of the greatest classics -- was brought forth.

I know you're all busy playing Left 4 Dead and that you probably don't care about this game anymore. However, Half-Life was a revolutionary title -- so astonishing graphics back then, so much innovation, so much thrill...no wonder how Valve became an empire thanks to this game alone. The release of Half-Life marked the history of PC gaming and therefore it must be remembered.

So much for my nostalgia, Valve is happy to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their game by offering us a very good deal: purchase Half-Life before November 21 for just 0.98$! That's right, just 98 cents.

    I didnt forget it, cause my pc is not the best, i plays cs 1.6 and all its games with the same engine, hl1 is my favourite, i passed all the sp. and i love multiplayer. happy birthday half life! edit: ups, just saw this is 2 months old. my bad.

    I actually had the hankerin' to go through it all again. It would be my 3rd time through the whole game. Seriously, it such a revolutionary game and anyone that does give it respect really knows nothing about what makes a good game.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY HALF-LIFE!!! The highest rated action game of all time has just had an anniversary party with Left 4 Dead!

    I kinda hope they stop selling HL: Source. (That's why Black Mesa is here!) PS. It's also the 10th of Spyro (one of my 1st VGs) I have both posted on my steamid page

    Ok, so yeah. i played HL1 when i was 4. I had NO CLUE WHAT SO EVER WHAT TO DO, and then i lost it. But now, when i play hl2 and stuff, I am so mad that i had lost hl1.
