HL: Paranromal

a 3 map long game I'm working on. It will soon be a mod. I'm uploading it here as a demo to see what people think.

These maps and its custom textures are made by Supernova38 @deviantart.com. DO NOT reupload them anywere else without my permission. Thank you.

To install, simply extract were'ever you want and then drag the WAD files and folders into "C:\half life\valve." If you have Half life 1 on steam then drag and drop it here: "C:\program files\valve\steam\steamapps\your username\half life\valve." These maps aren't made to work with half life source, nor will they since half life source doesn't use goldsource.

Above is taken directly from the readme this .zip contains. I would like to add, though, that its greatly stressed that nobody is to tamper with these maps (you can use the textures, though) at all. I, unfortunately, get pretty paranoid about theft. So please respect that.

    With the sprites, there are some from counter strike. So I wanted to include those just in case.

    A changelevel bug? I tested the game well and havent found a bug.. Interesting. Thanks for letting me know.

    LOL, delete all common HL wads from archive (only custom.wad, editor.wad, info.wad & paranormal.wad needed), so it will be about 3Mb, not 35Mb. Plus there are a lot of unneeded files in "sprites" folder (almost all of them). And better distribute these maps as mod (in separate folder with proper liblist.gam file). So it will be more comfortable for players to run it.

    Edit: OK, I tried those maps. The beginning is very interesting and surprising, but I got a changelevel bug (with dying on next level + spawning outside the map borders) and couldn't play further normally. But I will wait for the full version, because this demo is really fascinating for me.
